I am a psychologist, a yogini and a believer of the power of yoga
I have experienced beautiful changes in my life since I started practicing yoga. I always say these are „the gifts of yoga“. Therefore, I would like to share my practice and knowledge with children and adults wherever I go.
After I graduated in Psychology in 2005, I started my academic training in child psychology council taking courses on music therapy, language therapy, learning problems, and play therapy. Also, I chose an alternative training to learn different techniques to help children and show their parents how to manage tantrums, anxiety, and stress through breathing and corporal movement. Therefore, I got certified in Miniyoga® in 2010. During my Miniyoga® training, I fell in love with yoga. I realized how this practice improved my body alignment, flexibility, balance, and strength. It also boosted my energy levels and my mind started getting balanced and clear. Yoga changed the way I perceived life.
I always strive to deepen my knowledge so I ended up completing several certifications over the years: Miniyoga (2010), Rainbow Kids Yoga (2011), Yokid (2015), Yoga for special Child (2016, 2017), Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga 200 RYT with Andrew Eppler in Oklahoma (2016), Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga 200 hr with Guruji BNS Iyengar in Mysore, India (2017)
I continued my education in mantras, yoga philosophy and studied the Yoga Sutras of Patañjali with Dr. M.A. Jayashree at Anantha Reseach foundation and Dr. Alwar and Dr Avidya at Sanskrit Foundation, Mysore India.
Yoga for me is about bringing balance to the body, mind, emotion and energy
I have always been a physical intense person who spend most of his free time doing mountain biking, climbing, weights lifting, martial arts or simply exploring the woods surrounding my hometown. It was in my early 20s I found Yoga. I wanted to learn this ancient practice form the roots so I traveled to India where I learned traditional Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga in the beautiful city of Mysore the Yoga Capital of the South. Here I met my first teachers: M.V. Chidananda and BNS Iyengar.
Yoga for me is a method to bring balance to all the layers of the human being: physical, mental, emotional and energy, so you can live your life more free, vibrant and joyful. In my own practice I focus on the whole sequence of hatha yoga which consists of asana, pranayama, mudra and meditation.
I got certified as a Yoga Teacher (200hr) by ‚Hatha Yoga Kendra‘ in Mysore (2019) I have also studied for about 2 months in Mysore: Pranayama and Mudra with BNS Iyengar and Ashtanga Vinyasa with M.V. Chidananda.
